This Foster City neighborhood is a unique place for an Eichler home, because of its proximity to the San Francisco Bay. Do not let this unimaginative name for a neighborhood fool you, for Neighborhood #2 is actually a very pleasant Eichler neighborhood, benefitiing from a number of low-traffic cul-de-sacs. The lots here are small, about 6,000 sq. ft. with the quaint Eichler homes that sit upon them reaching about 2,000 sq.ft. Reminiscent of what Eichler was building circa 1956, the architecture is a bit less daring, but the atrium models are plentiful.
